Book a private field excursion with experts from the Fundy Geological Museum along the stunning coastline at Wasson Bluff!

What to expect:
On this private field excursion, you will be joined by the Fundy Geological Museum's Palaeotologist and Fossil Lab Manager. You will hike along the shores of Wasson Bluff to an active dinosaur research dig site where you will sieve for fossils and collect minerals alongside experts from the museum. Following the excursion, you will enjoy locally inspired, light refreshments on the ocean floor!

Tour Duration: 2.5 - 3 hours
Driving Distance to Wasson Bluff from museum: 9km 
All guests are responsible for travel to and from the Fundy Geological Museum to the tour sites. Please arrive at the museum 15 minutes prior to start time of your tour.

Terrain/What to Bring: 
This is a rocky beach with moderate to challenging walking surfaces, and there is a steep slope at the beginning of the trail. Sturdy footwear is required. Bring water and sunscreen, and dress for weather conditions as it is often very hot at the dig site.

Cancellation Policy:
When weather or other circumstances result in museum staff canceling an event, full registration fees will be returned. Deposits will not be returned if participants cancel less than 7 days in advance.
